This public mural, a beautiful tribute to Montreal icon Leonard Cohen, towers 21 storeys above the city and can be seen from many vantage points throughout downtown Montreal, from Mount Royal, and from the tops of the city's buildings, and adds a stunning personal touch to the cityscape. The artwork is called "Tower of Songs" and was led by Montreal artist Gene Pendon and American street artist El Mac.
One of the best times to photograph this is at dusk or at night, when the mural is lit up with soft lighting and contrasts beautifully with the surrounding city lights.
