The London Eye is typically quite a touristy activity, however both the view from the top, and the sight of the structure against the London skyline, make for some awesome photo potential. The view of the Houses of Parliament is particularly great.
Aim for a weekday to avoid crazy crowds, and aiming for golden light and clear skies will give you a stunning vista of London below.
